Showers continue across parts of Alabama tonight. The main axis of precipitation extends from Blount and St. Clair Counties through southern Jefferson and St. Clair Counties down to Chilton, Perry, Dallas and Wilcox.

The precipitation is moving quickly north in the strong warm air advection pattern.

It’s 69F at Tuscaloosa and 67F at Birmingham. It’s 59F in Anniston and 61F in Gadsden. Dewpoints are already in the lower 60s across the western half of the area.

Showers will continue overnight, but rainfall amounts will be very light.

0.04 inches here in Trussville from a rapidly moving, but heavy shower.
