The National Weather Service in Birmingham has issued a

* Flood Advisory for…
Central Talladega County in east central Alabama…
Northeastern Tallapoosa County in east central Alabama…
Southwestern Clay County in east central Alabama…

* Until 730 PM CDT

* At 528 PM CDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to
thunderstorms. This will cause minor flooding in the advisory area.

* Some locations that will experience flooding include…
Talladega, New Site, Goldville, Sycamore, Winterboro, Alpine,
Daviston, Roselle, Millerville and Cleveland Crossroads.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS…

Turn around, don’t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.
