The National Weather Service in Birmingham has extended the

* Flash Flood Warning for…
     Pike County in southeastern Alabama…

* Until 915 PM CDT

* At 709 PM CDT, emergency management reported flash flooding still
     ongoing across portions of the warned area. Three inches of rain
     have already fallen in many areas, with localized higher amounts.
     Several roadways are still considered impassable at this time.

* Some locations that will experience flooding include…
     Troy, Brundidge, Banks, Antioch, Linwood, Ansley, Troy Municipal
     Airport, Troy University, Tennille, Hamilton Crossroads, Orion,
     Tarentum, Brundidge Municipal Airport and Mossy Grove.

* Until 715 PM CDT

* At 509 PM CDT, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing heavy rain across the warned area. Up to two inches of rain have already fallen. Flash flooding is expected to begin shortly.

* Some locations that will experience flooding include…
    Troy, Brundidge, Banks, Antioch, Linwood, Ansley, Troy Municipal
    Airport, Troy University, Tennille, Hamilton Crossroads, Orion, Tarentum, Brundidge Municipal Airport and Mossy Grove.
    Additional rainfall amounts of one inch is possible in the warned area.
