Dense Fog Advisory For Parts of Central Alabama Until 8AM Tuesday

The National Weather Service in Birmingham has issued a Dense Fog Advisory, which is in effect until 8 AM CST Tuesday. Counties include: Blount, Etowah, Calhoun, Cherokee, Cleburne, Jefferson, Shelby, St. Clair, Talladega, Clay, Randolph.

Visibility will frequently be reduced to one-quarter mile or less. If driving, slow down, use your headlights, and leave plenty of distance ahead of you. Hazardous driving conditions can be expected due to the nature of the restrictive fog.
