Dense Fog Advisory Has Been Issued for Much of Central Alabama

| November 30, 2017 @ 6:42 pm

Dense fog formed quickly late this afternoon as skies cleared atop a moist low-level airmass.

The NWS in Birmingham has issued a Dense Fog Advisory for several counties across Central Alabama, shown on the map in gray.

Conditions will improve overnight as a cold front brings drier air in from the northwest. But until then, be careful if you are out and about. Lowered visibility means less reaction time driving, so slow down.
