Just A Few Clouds And Rather Chilly At Midday

| December 12, 2017 @ 1:17 pm

As we have entered into the 1 o’clock hour here in Central Alabama, skies are generally clear across much of the area with a few clouds floating over the eastern half. Temperatures at this time (1:05 PM) are currently in the upper 40s to the upper 50s throughout Central Alabama. Birmingham was at 52ºF, while the warm spot is at its usual spot in Eufaula at 59ºF. Gadsden and Haleyville are the cool spots, both reporting in at 48ºF.

For the remainder of the afternoon and into the early evening hours, we’ll continue to have mostly clear skies throughout Central Alabama with highs in the upper 40s to the upper 50s. For tonight, skies will clear out and below freezing temperatures will move back in. Lows will be in the 20s to near 30 degrees.

Wednesday’s weather will feature bright and sunny skies with slightly warmer temperatures. Highs will make it into the lower to mid-50s. We’ll clear skies and temperatures won’t be quite as cold for tomorrow night, with lows in the 30s.
