KGWX INOPERABLE UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE
KGWX, the National Weather Service WSR-88D in Columbus, Mississippi, will be down until further notice. A critical part is on order. There is no estimated arrival time for this part. During this outage, adjacent radars are available. These include NWS Birmingham (KBMX), NWS Huntsville (KHTX), and NWS Jackson MS (KDGX).
