2/3 Inch of Rain North Alabama

| April 24, 2007 @ 1:36 pm | Reply

The rain that moved east across the Tennessee Valley this morning produced some decent amounts in some areas.

A big, big plus was that it was slow and steady–not a sudden downpour.

All of it is long gone now.

The 33/40 Skywatcher near Huntsville (WeatherJames) reported 0.22 of an inch. These three reports are from official hourly reporting stations:

0.64 at Decatur Airport
0.40 at Huntsville Airport
0.17 at Muscle Shoals Airport
