**No Weather Xtreme video this morning due to travel schedule**

SOME LIGHT RAIN TOMORROW NIGHT: Not much change in our forecast thinking this morning. Models have trended a little colder for today, suggesting a high in the upper 40s despite maximum sunshine. A light freeze is likely tonight with a clear sky and light wind.

After a sunny start tomorrow, clouds will begin to increase during the afternoon. We have a chance of reaching the low 60s as we have brief moderation. Then, there is a window for some light rain at times tomorrow night, generally between 6:00 p.m. and 2:00 a.m. as a Alberta Clipper scoots through. Still some risk a few snow flakes could be mixed with the light rain as it all ends, but it won’t amount to anything as we dry out in a hurry. Looks like we will be clear by daybreak Sunday.

Sunday will feature a sunny sky, but a chilly breeze as another surge of cold, dry air arrives. The high Sunday will be in the upper 40s. And, we go down in the 20s by early Monday.

NEXT WEEK: The first half of the week will be dry with a gradual warming trend, and the GFS continues the idea of an upper ridge poking in here from the south toward the end of the week, which would keep the best chance of rain to the west and north of Alabama. That would also mean some very mild conditions, with afternoon highs reaching the low 70s by Thursday and Friday. I guess that is appropriate with March about to begin.

STORM ALERT 2009: Thanks to everyone for coming out to Oxford last night; a great crowd and we always enjoy seeing everyone. Our last stop is next week in Cullman… we will be at the Cullman Civic Center Thursday night at 7:00.

This is a quick discussion this morning; I will be in Chattanooga, Tennessee this morning for a weather program. I will probably do some testing with the live stream from the Storm Chaser; I should be back in the office by early afternoon and hope to crank out an afternoon edition of the Weather Xtreme video by 3:30. Enjoy the day!
