Big Storms Over Northwestern Jefferson County

Strong storms have formed over northwestern Jefferson County.

They are packing lots of lightning, torrential rain and gusty winds. There might even be a little small hail.

Trees have been reported down between Sayre and Graysville on US-78.

The storms are basically stationary but may be drifting slowly southeastward or building southeastward.

Rainfall of over two inches has fallen in less than an hour north of Graysville along US-78.
