West Alabama Last Hurrah

Snows have really increased along the back edge of the snow area with bright banding noticed on the radar now in an NE/SW axis bisecting the city of Tuscaloosa. Some 41dbz echoes in there, which is some of the heaviest snow we have seen so far today.

This snow area will move southeast into Bibb county toward Centreville and eventually into Chilton County, affecting Clanton. Expect greatly reduced visibilities and snowfall rates of an inch per more per hour. This snow could cover roads in the affected area, making them hazardous.
