Areal Flood Advisory Issued For Parts Of Fayette & Lamar Counties Until 7:15 PM

Small Stream Flood Advisory for…
Western Fayette County in west central Alabama…
Lamar County in west central Alabama…

Until 715 PM CDT.

At 511 PM CDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. This will cause small stream flooding in the advisory area.

Some locations that will experience flooding include… Winfield, Fayette, Vernon, Sulligent, Glen Allen, Kennedy, Belk, Blooming Grove, Lamar County Airport, Bedford, Bluff, Gattman, Cody, Stone Wall, Bazemore, Wayside, Richard Arthur Field, Lamar County Public Lake, Bevill State College Fayette and Hubbertville.
