Our line of storms continues moving east into Georgia this morning.

The line has weakened over the past couple of hours. The only warning currently in Alabama is over Conecuh, Butler and Covington Counties in the southern part of the state.

The main activity extends from southeastern Randolph county near Roanoke to west of Lafayette in Chambers County to Tuskegee in Macon County then to Georgiana in Bulter County.

The NWS just issued a tornado warning for areas around Red Level, Gantt, Brantley and Dozier in Covington and Crenshaw Counties

A new tornado watch has been issued for Southeast Alabama.

Rain is ending from west to east with the back edge of the rain now extending from Heflin to Alex City to Prattville to Evergreen.

Look for some sunshine to return this afternoon with highs in the 70s.

More storms overnight, but mainly over South Alabama, where there could be severe weather again. Rain and storms could occur north to around I-20 tonight and early Friday.

The potential exists for a bigger threat of severe weather Friday night into Saturday across Alabama. You will want to pay close attention to later forecasts and outlooks as we head toward a potentially significant severe weather outbreak in this time frame.
