NORTHWESTERN LEE…TALLAPOOSA…SOUTHERN CHAMBERS…EASTERN COOSA AND
SOUTHERN CLAY COUNTIES UNTIL 500 PM CDT…
At 432 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along
a line extending from 6 miles northeast of Goodwater to Eastern Lake
Martin to Oak Bowery. Movement was northeast at 30 mph.
Winds in excess of 40 mph will be possible with these storms.
Locations impacted include…
Opelika, Alexander City, Dadeville, Lineville, Ashland, Goodwater,
Camp Hill, Kellyton, Lafayette, La Fayette, Jacksons’ Gap, New Site,
Waverly, Goldville, Martin Dam, Sturkie, Trammel Crossroads, Buffalo,
Hillabee Creek and Western Lake Martin.
