New Severe T-Storm Watch Issued for SW Central AL; More Counties Cancelled From Previous Watch

NWS Birmingham, in conjunction with the SPC, has issued a Severe Thunderstorm Watch effective until 12:00 AM Friday for Dallas, Greene, Hale, Marengo, Perry, Pickens, and Sumter counties.

NWS Mobile, in conjunction with the SPC, has issued a Severe Thunderstorm Watch effective until 12:00 AM Friday for Baldwin, Butler, Choctaw, Clarke, Conecuh, Covington, Crenshaw, Escambia, Mobile, Monroe, Washington, and Wilcox counties.

NWS Birmingham continues a Severe Thunderstorm Watch until 7:00 PM for Autauga, Barbour, Bullock, Elmore, Lee, Lowndes, Macon, Montgomery, Pike, and Russell counties, while cancelling the watch for Chambers, Chilton, Clay, Coosa, Jefferson, Randolph, Shelby, Talladega, Tallapoosa, Walker, and Winston counties.

NWS Huntsville continues a Severe Thunderstorm Watch until 7:00 PM for Colbert, Franklin, Lauderdale, and Lawrence counties, while cancelling the watch for Cullman, Limestone, and Morgan counties.

The Flash Flood Watch has been cancelled for North Alabama.
