At 322 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm over
Oak Mountain State Park, or near Pelham, moving south at 10 mph.
Pea size hail and winds in excess of 40 mph will be possible with
this storm.
Locations impacted include…
Hoover, Alabaster, Pelham, Helena, Chelsea, Indian Springs Village,
Riverchase, Oak Mountain State Park, Maylene, Oak Mountain
Amphitheater, Meadowbrook, Joe Tucker Park, Ballantrae, Camp Branch,
Hoover Veterans Park, Saddle Lake Farms, Siluria, Bounds Lake and
Saginaw.
