Tornado Watch Canceled For Southwest Alabama, Continues For Southeast Alabama

All of the NWS Mobile counties that were in the Tornado Watch (Mobile, Escambia, Baldwin, and Covington counties) have been removed from the watch.

All of the NWS Tallahassee counties (Coffee, Dale, Henry, Houston, and Geneva counties) remain in the Tornado Watch until 7:00 pm CST.

A Flash Flood Watch continues for Mobile, Baldwin, Escambia, Conecuh, Covington, Coffee, Dale, Geneva, Henry, and Houston counties until 6:00 pm CST on Tuesday.

A Tornado Warning was issued for parts of Holmes, Jackson, Walton, and Washington counties in Florida until 5:15 CST for a severe thunderstorm capable of producing a tornado near Vernon and moving to the northeast at 50 MPH. Vernon, Wausau, Bonifay, Chipley, Alford, and Cottondale (FL) are just a few locations within the polygon.
