A Cold, Steady Rain
The widespread rain has continued through the afternoon and has picked up in intensity late this afternoon. Moderate to pockets of heavy rainfall have settled in across nearly every square inch of Alabama and it will persist the next several hours. It remains chilly as well with temperatures in the 40s.
Looking back to the west, rain continues back into Central Mississippi and this will make its way into Alabama. Therefore, the rain will continue through the evening hours and into the early overnight hours.
