Much Warmer At Midday… Just Hang On, A Warm Up Is Coming

| January 31, 2019 @ 12:19 pm

As of 12:00 pm on this last day of January 2019, we have blue skies and plenty of sunshine across the area. Temperatures across the area are in the mid-40s to the mid-50s. It’s hard to believe, but with Birmingham sitting at 50 degrees, that is 70 degrees warmer than the temperature at International Falls, Minnesota, which is sitting at -20 degrees.

WEATHER FOR THE REST OF YOUR THURSDAY
Skies will remain sunny throughout the rest of the afternoon and into the evening hours with warmer temperatures then what we saw yesterday. Afternoon highs will top out in the lower 50s in the north to the mid to upper 50s in the central and southern parts of the area. Skies will continue to be mainly clear throughout the evening and into the overnight hours with overnight lows in the upper 20s to the mid-30s.

ANOTHER NICE DAY ON FRIDAY WITH WARMER TEMPERATURES
We’ll continue to have very nice weather across Central Alabama on Friday as we’ll have mostly sunny skies throughout the day. Afternoon highs will be up in the upper 50s to the lower 60s across the area from north to south. We’ll have a few more clouds across the area for Friday night and into the overnight hours, but no raindrops will be falling on our heads. Overnight lows will be in the mid-30s to the mid-40s across the area from north to south.
