     Heavy rain has tapered off and gage at Indian Creek at Madison has
     indicated it has crested. Portions of the Indian Creek Greenway may
     still be underwater and some minor flooding issues may linger over
     the next few hours across Western Madison County. Please continue to
     heed any road closures.

…A FLOOD WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 730 PM CST FOR WESTERN MADISON COUNTY… At 626 PM CST, automated gages reported flooding in Madison and Huntsville along Indian Creek. The Indian Creek Greenway will likely remain submerged for the next several hours, with flooding in low lying areas. Additionally, doppler radar indicated rain showers producing heavy rain across much of western Madison County that will cause flooding issues of low-lying and flood prone areas. Up to an inch of rain has fallen in the past couple of hours, with additional rounds of heavy rainfall possible over the next hour. Some locations that will experience flooding include… Huntsville, Madison, Redstone Arsenal, Meridianville, Triana, Alabama A And M University, Marshall Space Flight Center, University Of Alabama In Huntsville, Huntsville International Airport and Harvest.

    Western Madison County in north central Alabama…

* Until 730 PM CST.

* At 427 PM CST, automated gages reported flooding in Madison and
    Huntsville along Indian Creek. The Indian Creek Greenway will likely remain submerged for the next several hours with flooding in low lying areas. Additionally, doppler radar indicated thunderstorms with heavy rain across much of western Madison
    County that will cause flooding. Up to an inch of rain has fallen in the past couple of hours, with additional rounds of heavy rainfall possible over the next 2-3 hours.
