At 548 PM CST, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm over
Lay Lake, or near Talladega Springs, moving northeast at 35 mph.
Pea size hail will be possible with this storm.
Locations impacted include…
Sylacauga, Childersburg, Columbiana, Wilsonville, Talladega Springs,
Vincent, Harpersville, Marble Valley, Fayetteville, Lay Lake, Shelby,
Alabama 4H Center, Shelby Shores, Waxahatchee Creek, Highway 145 and
CR 46, Paint Creek, Kelley Branch, Varnons, Gaston Steam Plant and
Sylacauga Municipal Airport.
