* Until 1245 PM CST Friday.

* At 604 AM CST, Doppler radar and automated rain gauges indicated
thunderstorms with heavy rain over the area. The heavy rain will
make the ongoing flooding worse.

* Some locations that will experience flooding include…
     Florence, Muscle Shoals, Russellville, Sheffield, Tuscumbia,
     Killen, Cherokee, Littleville, Leighton and St. Florian.
     Additional rainfall amounts of one to two inches are possible in the
     warned area.

* At 1216 AM CST, Doppler radar indicated an axis of heavy rain was
moving into the warned area. Flooding is ongoing and this
additional heavy rain will continue the flood threat.

A Flood Warning Remains In Effect Until 12:45 AM CST For Lauderdale, Colbert And Northern Franklin Counties

…A FLOOD WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 1245 AM CST FOR LAUDERDALE…COLBERT AND NORTHERN FRANKLIN COUNTIES… At 1037 PM CST, Doppler radar indicated that heavy rainfall of 1-2 inches has fallen across the warned area over the past 6-8 hours, with additional light to moderate rainfall expected to occur over the next couple of hours. Given the already saturated ground, and the swollen creeks and streams, this additional rainfall will begin to produce flooding across the warning area over the next couple of hours. Some locations that will experience flooding include… Florence, Muscle Shoals, Russellville, Sheffield, Tuscumbia, Killen, Cherokee, Littleville, Leighton and St. Florian.

* At 842 PM CST, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain that will cause flooding. Up to 1-2 inches of rain has already fallen on already swollen ground over the last 6 hours. Additional bands of moderate to heavy rainfall will move over this area in the next 2-3 hours which will cause some areal flooding issues, especially in low- lying areas.
