Tornado Watch Extended Eastward
NWS Birmingham has extended the Tornado Watch for Central Alabama to now include Bibb, Blount, Etowah, Hale, Jefferson, Marengo, Perry, Shelby, St. Clair along with Fayette, Greene, Lamar, Pickens, Sumter, Tuscaloosa, Walker, Winston counties until 7:00 pm CDT.
NWS Huntsville has extended the Tornado Watch for North Alabama to now include DeKalb and Marshall to go along with Cullman, Lawrence, Limestone, Madison, Morgan counties until 7:00 pm CDT. Colbert, Franklin, and Lauderdale counties were canceled from the watch earlier.
