Only Eight Counties Remain Under The Severe Thunderstorm Watch In Central Alabama

NWS Birmingham has removed Autauga, Chambers, Coosa, Dallas, Elmore, Marengo, Randolph, and Tallapoosa counties from the Severe Thunderstorm Watch as the threat of severe storms have moved south of those counties.

The Severe Thunderstorm Watch continues for Barbour, Bullock, Lee, Lowndes, Macon, Montgomery, Pike, and Russell counties until 9:00 pm tonight.
