Business Picking Up To Our West

| April 8, 2019 @ 8:04 pm

We are getting plenty of hail reports coming in from eastern Mississippi from the storms that are moving to the north-northeast just to the west of the Alabama state line.

We have a few severe thunderstorm warnings in effect for several cells that are showing severe characteristics… the possibility of damaging winds up to 60 MPH and large hail up to quarter-size and larger.

Storms are strengthening in western Alabama as well, especially over Lamar County. Half-inch hail and winds up to 40 MPH are possible with that certain cell.

While the threat of severe storms is isolated in nature, a severe weather watch looks to be unlikely. Stay weather aware as severe storms can still be expected throughout the night.

We’ll continue to keep you posted. Stay tuned.
