Confirmed Large and Extremely Dangerous Tornado in Northeast Mississippi; Will Affect Lamar County Alabama: Start Taking Tornado Precautions

URGENT MESSAGE FROM THE NWS MEMPHIS
OBSERVED, tornado damage threat: CONSIDERABLE, hail: < .75 IN] for Itawamba, Monroe [MS] till 11:45 PM CDT ...AT 1109 PM CDT, A CONFIRMED LARGE AND EXTREMELY DANGEROUS TORNADO WAS LOCATED 7 MILES NORTH OF KOLOLA SPRINGS, OR 8 MILES NORTH OF COLUMBUS AFB, MOVING NORTH AT 50 MPH.

The storm over Monroe County Mississippi has become much more organized in the past few minutes and has prompted a tornado warning again. It has a clear bounded weak echo region, increasing indications for hail and is too close to the Columbus radar for good rotation determination.
