Two Circulations Of Concern In The Southwestern Parts Of Central Alabama

| April 14, 2019 @ 2:20 am

We have two tornado warnings in effect in Central Alabama as of 2:15 am. The first warning is in effect for parts of Tuscaloosa and Bibb counties with the rotation moving across the southeastern corner of Tuscaloosa County. This warning goes until 3:00 am. The second warning was just recently issued for parts of Hale and Perry counties until 2:45 am for a cell located over Greensboro. Both cells are moving to the northeast at 50 MPH.

If either one of these cells continues on their current paths, they will eventually affect the cities of Hueytown, Bessemer, Hoover, Homewood, and downtown Birmingham. People in Jefferson County will need to keep their eyes on both of these warned cells.
