| April 18, 2019 @ 6:53 pm

UPDATE: 7:04
Trees are reported down across parts of Tuscaloosa and Fayette Counties.

Be alert for strong winds not only with the line of storms as it moves through but behind the line as well.

The system is being accompanied by a strong rear inflow jet and those strong winds are being driven to the surface.

Areas from Tuscaloosa County through Hale into Marengo Counties are being affected now. These high winds will follow the squall line.

Be alert for damaging winds both ahead of and behind the line. There is still a threat of spin-up tornadoes, especially over Fayette, Walker, and Jefferson Counties.
