Sun for Some, Clouds Elsewhere

| April 20, 2019 @ 1:47 pm

COOL SATURDAY AFTERNOON: The pesky upper-level low continues to pull away from the state. The rain is out of here, and the clouds continue to decrease in coverage…slowly. After the cloudy start to the day, some locations are seeing sunshine in full supply this afternoon, while many locations in central, eastern, and northern portions of the state continue to deal with more clouds.

It remains cool for the latter half of April with most locations only in the lower to mid 60s where the sun is out; however, in locations seeing more clouds, temperatures are holding in the 50s, with even some 40s this afternoon. Add in those breezy conditions as well and it feels down-right chilly at times. The sky will continue to clear across the rest of the state tonight and we are in store for a rather cold night.

EASTER: For those sunrise services in the morning, jackets are going to be needed as most locations will be in the lower 40s as you head out the door in the morning; some of those colder spots are very likely to settle into the upper 30s by first thing tomorrow morning. The rest of tomorrow will be beautiful and very nice. Sunshine will be in full supply and afternoon temperatures will be in the mid and upper 70s.
