…Significant Weather Advisory for Patchy Dense Fog across
Limestone, Madison, Morgan, Marshall, Jackson, DeKalb, Cullman,
Moore, Lincoln, and Franklin TN Counties…

Patchy Dense Fog has developed across portions of Limestone, Madison,
Morgan, Marshall, Jackson, DeKalb, Cullman, Moore, Lincoln, and
Franklin TN Counties, with visibilities reduced to 1/4 mile or less
in isolated areas. Reduced visibilities were also being reported in
some locations greater than 1000 feet above sea level, due to low
cloud bases.

Elsewhere across Central Alabama, patchy fog exists, with some dense fog
over South Alabama. The visibility at Montgomery is down to 1/2 mile,
with 1/4 of a mile at Greenville.

A dense fog advisory has been issued for Butler, Crenshaw, and Covington
Counties in South Alabama, as well as inland parts of Okaloosa County in Northwest
Florida.

Motorists are urged to drive with extreme caution, as visibilities
will vary significantly given the patchy nature of the fog. Use low
beams, reduce driving speed as needed, and allow for plenty of room
between you and other vehicles.

The fog should begin to burn off by 8 AM CDT.
