A Quick Look at Alabama’s Weather at 5 p.m.

Thunderstorms continue over Central and East Alabama late this afternoon. They are concentrated over Talladega County from Talladega and Waldo down to Sylacauga.

The storms are moving east at 15 mph. They will begin to affect western Clay County over the next 45 minutes.

There is another concentration over Chilton County around Clanton.

Lots of lightning and brief heavy rain in both clusters of storms.
