Dense Fog Advisory for West Alabama

The NWS in Birmingham has issued a dense fog advisory for West Alabama until 9 a.m.

Areas which received rain yesterday are experiencing fog. Visibilities are as low as 1/4 of a mile in spots.

Use caution if driving.

…DENSE FOG ADVISORY IN EFFECT UNTIL 9 AM CDT THIS MORNING…

The National Weather Service in Birmingham has issued a Dense Fog
Advisory, which is in effect until 9 AM CDT this morning.

* VISIBILITY…will drop to one quarter of mile or less.

* IMPACTS…of the dense fog will make travel hazardous at times.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS…

A Dense Fog Advisory means visibilities will frequently be
reduced to a quarter mile or less. If driving, slow down, use
your low beam headlights, and leave plenty of distance ahead of
you.
