…SIGNIFICANT WEATHER ADVISORY FOR NORTHERN PICKENS AND SOUTHERN
LAMAR COUNTIES UNTIL 415 PM CDT…
At 319 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along
a line extending from near Columbus AFB to near Reform. Movement was
east at 20 mph.
Winds in excess of 40 mph will be possible with these storms.
Locations impacted include…
Vernon, Gordo, Reform, Millport, Carrollton, Pickensville, Kennedy,
Ethelsville, Cody, North Pickens Airport, McShan, Shaw, Owens, Kirk,
Star, Lubbub, Hightogy, Forest and Melborne.
