The National Weather Service in Birmingham has issued a

* Severe Thunderstorm Warning for…
Northwestern Montgomery County in south central Alabama…

* Until 600 PM CDT.

* At 523 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm was located over southwestern
Montgomery, and is nearly stationary.

HAZARD…60 mph wind gusts and penny size hail.

SOURCE…Radar indicated.

IMPACT…Expect damage to roofs, siding, and trees.

* Locations impacted include…
Montgomery, Hunter, Dannelly Field, Maxwell Air Force Base,
Snowdoun, Hyundai Motors Of Alabama, Alabama State University,
Montgomery Riverwalk Stadium, Pinedale, Hope Hull, Woodcrest and
Alabama State Capitol.
