Dense Fog Again Tonight, Early Tuesday

Model forecast visibilities from the high resolution NAM for early Tuesday.

Decent low-level moisture combined with excellent conditions for radiational cooling will result in widespread dense fog tonight and early Tuesday morning.

The NWS in Birmingham has issued a Dense Fog Advisory for Bibb, Blount, Calhoun, Cherokee, Chilton, Etowah, Fayette, Greene, Hale, Jefferson, Lamar, Marengo, Marion, Perry, Pickens, Shelby, St. Clair, Sumter, Talladega, Tuscaloosa, Walker, and Winston Counties.

The NWS in Huntsville has issued also issued a Dense Fog Advisory for Colbert, Cullman, DeKalb, Franklin, Jackson, Lauderdale, Lawrence, Limestone, Madison, Marshall, and Morgan Counties.

Exercise caution if you are driving in areas of dense fog.

The fog will begin burning off after sunrise and conditions will improve by 9 or 10 a.m.
