Wind Advisories Issued For All Of Central Alabama For Tonight Through Much Of Tomorrow

NWS Birmingham has issued a Wind Advisory for all counties in Central Alabama starting at 11:00 pm tonight and is expected to expire at 5:00 pm Tuesday.

WIND ADVISORY IN EFFECT FROM 11 PM THIS EVENING TO 5 PM CST TUESDAY

* WHAT…North winds 10 to 20 mph with gusts up to 35 mph expected.

* IMPACTS…Gusty winds could blow around unsecured objects. Tree limbs could be blown down and a few power outages may result.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS…

Use extra caution when driving, especially if operating a high
profile vehicle. Secure outdoor objects.
