Special Weather Statement From NWS Birmingham For Northern Counties Of Central Alabama

Temperatures falling below freezing with residual moisture on local roadways will lead to the possibility of hazardous travel in some areas late tonight into early Wednesday morning. Patchy ice may create slick spots on some local roads…bridges and overpasses in less-traveled areas. Please use extra caution if you have to travel. Temperatures will rise above freezing by 9 AM.
