Winter Weather Advisory Issued For Parts Of North Alabama Until 1:00 AM Wednesday

WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY IN EFFECT UNTIL 1 AM CST WEDNESDAY.

* WHAT…Light snowfall accumulations. Total snowfall accumulations around one to two inches.

* WHERE…For locations along and east of the Interstate 65 corridor, including north-central and northeast Alabama, along with southern middle Tennessee. North Alabama counties included in the advisory are Cullman, DeKalb, Jackson, Limestone, Madison, Marshall, and Morgan.

* WHEN…Until 1 AM CST Wednesday.

* IMPACTS…Plan on slippery road conditions, especially on bridges and overpasses.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS…

A Winter Weather Advisory for snow means that periods of snow will cause primarily travel difficulties. Be prepared for snow-covered roads and limited visibilities, and use caution while driving.
