Conditions Across Central Alabama At 12:10 pm

Skies are sunny across much of Central Alabama with the exception of the northern portions of the area. Will all of this sunshine, don’t expect it to feel warm as Old Man Winter has returned to the area. Temperatures were in the mid-20s to the lower 40s across the area. The cold spot was Cullman at 24 degrees while the warm spot was Troy at 43 degrees. Birmingham was only at 34 degrees.

Weather for the Rest of Your Monday

Skies will continue to clear out for those who still have some clouds at this time, while the rest will have sunny skies. Even with all of this sunshine, temperatures will stay rather cold only reaching the upper 30s to the mid-40s across the area from north to south. For tonight and through the overnight, clouds will begin to move back in from the north and a few flurries could be possible over the extreme northern parts of the area. It is only a few flurries so no travel problems will occur. Lows will bottom out in the lower to mid-20s across the area.

Not Any Better On Tuesday

We’ll start off with some clouds and a few flurries will be possible over the northwest and western parts of the area, but those skies will clear out by the afternoon hours. Temperatures will be just a tad warmer, reaching the lower to mid-40s across much of the area. Skies will be clear through the evening and late-night hours, but some clouds will move in from the west during the overnight hours. Lows will be in the upper teens to the mid-20s.
