THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN HUNTSVILLE ALABAMA HAS ISSUED A

* FLOOD WARNING FOR…
LAUDERDALE COUNTY IN NORTHWESTERN ALABAMA…
COLBERT COUNTY IN NORTHWESTERN ALABAMA…
FRANKLIN COUNTY IN NORTHWESTERN ALABAMA…
LAWRENCE COUNTY IN NORTHWESTERN ALABAMA…

* UNTIL 130 AM CST.

* AT 1033 PM CST, DOPPLER RADAR AND AUTOMATED RAIN GAUGES INDICATED
THAT ONE TO ONE AND A HALF INCHES OF RAINFALL HAS ALREADY FALLEN
IN MANY LOCATIONS WEST OF COURTLAND. AN ADDITIONAL ONE HALF TO ONE
INCH OF RAIN IS POSSIBLE THROUGH 130 AM CST. THIS WILL PRODUCE
ADDITIONAL FLOODING CONCERNS.

* SOME LOCATIONS THAT WILL EXPERIENCE FLOODING INCLUDE…
FLORENCE, MUSCLE SHOALS, RUSSELLVILLE, SHEFFIELD, TUSCUMBIA,
MOULTON, RED BAY, ROGERSVILLE, PHIL CAMPBELL AND KILLEN.

TURN AROUND, DON’T DROWN WHEN ENCOUNTERING FLOODED ROADS. MOST FLOOD
DEATHS OCCUR IN VEHICLES.

A FLOOD WARNING MEANS THAT FLOODING IS IMMINENT OR OCCURRING. ALL
INTERESTED PARTIES SHOULD TAKE NECESSARY PRECAUTIONS IMMEDIATELY.
