| February 20, 2020 @ 11:09 am

…Significant Weather Advisory until 3 PM CST…

A light mix of rain, snow and sleet will continue through the early to mid-afternoon hours. The snow will be moderate at times and could accumulate to less than one half inch on grassy and elevated surfaces. In the higher elevations of northeast Alabama and southern middle Tennessee, a few spots could receive one half to one inch.

However, temperatures are expected to remain above freezing. A few slushy and slick spots could develop briefly where the snow accumulates a bit more quickly. Although widespread travel problems are not anticipated, use caution when traveling on elevated roadways, bridges, and overpasses.
