At Midday: Enjoy The Sun While You Can, It Hides Behind Clouds On Sunday

| February 22, 2020 @ 11:33 am

CONDITIONS AS OF 11:20 AM
We have maximum sunshine across the area as we approach the midday hour, and skies should stay clear throughout the rest of the daylight hours. Temperatures as of the 11:00 am Roundup were ranging from the mid-40s to the lower 50s across the area. Gadsden was the cold spot at 46 degrees while Montgomery was the warm spot at 52 degrees. Birmingham was sitting at 49 degrees.

BRILLIANT BUT COOL FOR THE REST OF YOUR SATURDAY
Maximum sunshine can be expected across Central Alabama for your Saturday afternoon as high pressure will be centered over the southwestern parts of the area, but temperatures will remain cool. Afternoon highs will be in the mid to upper 50s across the area from northwest to southeast. A few clouds will start to roll in during the late-night and overnight hours, but we’ll remain dry. Lows will be in the lower to mid-30s.

WE STAY DRY ON SUNDAY, BUT CLOUDS RETURN
Sunday will start off with partly to mostly cloudy skies, with those increasing throughout the day. Unfortunately, a few showers may be possible before midnight in the northwestern parts of the area before becoming likely for nearly the entire area during the overnight hours. Highs will be in the mid-50s to the lower 60s.
