Flood Warning For Parts Of Madison County Until 3:30 PM

The National Weather Service in Huntsville Alabama has issued a

* Flood Warning for…
Southwestern Madison County in north central Alabama…

* Until 330 PM CDT.

* At 1224 PM CDT, reporting gauges indicate Indian Creek was
encroaching the flood stage level of 7.5 ft and may cause nuisance
flooding along the Greenway. One to one and a half inches of rain
has already fallen. It will fall below flood stage this afternoon
into early this evening.

* Some locations that will experience flooding include…
Northwestern Huntsville, Madison, Redstone Arsenal, Triana,
Marshall Space Flight Center and Harvest.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS…

A Flood Warning means that flooding is imminent or occurring. All
interested parties should take necessary precautions immediately.
