Windy Conditions Expected Sunday Afternoon into Early Monday

An approaching storm system will lead to increasing winds on Sunday and the National Weather Service in Birmingham has already posted a wind advisory for Sunday afternoon, night and early Monday morning.

Winds will average 15 to 25 mph with gusts to 35 mph outside of thunderstorms.

Unsecured objects could be blown around by the winds. Tents and temporary structures will be vulnerable. Tree limbs and weakened trees could be brought down.
