Be Alert to Widespread Wind Damage As Well As Tornado Threat With Fayette/Tuscaloosa Storm That Will Move Into Walker/Jefferson

That dangerous storm that came out of Pickens County will be producing widespread wind damage and the threat of tornadoes from Berry down to Samantha and up to Oakman, Parish, Cordova, Sumiton, and eventually Adamsville in Jefferson County.

A tornado just touched down northeast of Newtonville in Fayette County.

The tornado warning has just been extended into Walker County.

Brian Peters reports US-82 is completely blocked by trees down between Gordo and the Tuscaloosa County line.
