Strong Storms over Perry, Hale and Bibb Counties

Strong thunderstorms are affecting northern Perry, southeastern Hale, and southwestern Bibb Counties in West Alabama.

A strong thunderstorm is over Greensboro, moving east at 50 mph.

Winds in excess of 40 mph will be possible with this storm.

Locations impacted include…
Marion, Greensboro, Newbern, Greensboro Municipal Airport, Heiberger, Mertz, Judson College, Morgan Springs, Folsom, Oakmulgee, Sprott,
Wateroak and Ellards.

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with this storm, and may lead to localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded roadways.
