Storms A Bit Weaker in Jefferson County, Numerous Trees Down in Chilton County

| June 25, 2020 @ 9:54 pm

From Nahan Owen at the NWS Birmingham:

Storms moving into Jefferson started moving into the wake of the first line, which led to more stable conditions. The storms decreased quite a bit, so winds may not be as strong – got wind gusts measured around 26 mph at Bessemer Airport.

Numerous trees are reported down in Chilton County though, including in the Jemison/Thorsby areas. The severe thunderstorm warning continues for parts of Chiton and Shelby Counties.
