Flood Warning for Parts of Cullman County Until 3 p.m.

The National Weather Service in Huntsville has issued a

* Flood Warning for urban areas and small streams in…
Central Cullman County in north central Alabama…

* Until 300 PM CDT.

* At 1151 AM CDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to
thunderstorms. Flooding is already occurring in the warning area,
especially in downtown areas of the city of Cullman along Highway
31. Between 1 and 2 inches of rain have fallen.

Some locations that will experience flooding include…
Cullman, Hanceville, Good Hope, Holly Pond, Dodge City, Baldwin,
Garden City, Phelan, Logan, Walter, Smith Lake and Jones Chapel.
