The National Weather Service in Birmingham has issued a

* Severe Thunderstorm Warning for…
Walker County in central Alabama…

* Until 115 PM CDT.

* At 1208 PM CDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line
extending from near Moreland to near Glen Allen, moving southeast
at 35 mph.

HAZARD…60 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail.

SOURCE…Radar indicated.

IMPACT…Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect wind damage
to roofs, siding, and trees.

* Locations impacted include…
Jasper, Sumiton, Cordova, Dora, Carbon Hill, Parrish, Oakman,
Sipsey, Kansas, Nauvoo, Eldridge, Curry, Rocky Hollow, Burnwell,
Beloit, Lynns Park, Gorgas, Smith Lake, Empire and West Corona.
