CANCELED Flood Warning for Parts of Cullman, Morgan, & Marshall Counties Until 7:00 pm

The National Weather Service in Huntsville has issued a

* Flood Warning for…
Northeastern Cullman County in north central Alabama…
Southeastern Morgan County in north central Alabama…
Southwestern Marshall County in northeastern Alabama…

* Until 700 PM CDT.

* At 530 PM CDT, Doppler radar and automated rain gauges indicated
heavy rain due to thunderstorms. Flooding is ongoing or expected
to begin shortly in the warning area. Between 2 and 3 inches of
rain have fallen.

Some locations that will experience flooding include…
Guntersville, Arab, Holly Pond, Baileyton, Eva, Joppa, Hulaco,
Ryan Crossroads, Eddy, Hyatt and Cole Springs.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS…

A Flood Warning means that flooding is imminent or occurring. All
interested parties should take necessary precautions immediately.

Turn around, don’t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.
